CMA Astoria Vintage 2 Group Commercial Espresso Coffee Machine
Costa commissioned Astoria to make this vintage-style coffee machine, which AMV designed. Its oozes a subtle blend of elegance and charisma, professionalism and sophistication, with the chrome-plating adding that extra touch of beauty. The style is reminiscent of 50s American diners, but the tech. is right up to date. This is a multiboiler system all controlled by a microprocessor which enables you optimise your beverages.
You will see these machines in many Costa shops up and down the country. This example is a two group unit and while used it is in very nice condition, vibrant red and gleaming chrome. Some light scratches and marks but not much to comment on, she does look very impressive. Please see photos, as they say 'a picture says a thousand words!'. A video of the machine can be arranged upon request, so if you would like to see, please just ask.
Multiboiler Tech. These units have different boilers for each of the functions - three in total. Each head has its own while the hot water and steam have their own, much larger dedicated boiler. A so say 'normal' machine would have just one, but this isn’t your average machine. This means you get lots of steam and hot water - perfect for great coffee and happy customers and most importantly the hot water and steam production doesn't affect the coffee. No more running your hot water down, losing temperature and then finding you cant make any shots or steam your milk. The digital display shows rather more than simply the temperature and pressure. You can opt to set the display to show shot timings helping to make sure that your extraction is spot on. With the interface you have the option to set each head temperature individually, this means that you can optimise different coffees using different heads. Furthermore when its quiet you can you can have the option to set individual heads to switch off or have the machine learn when you have quiet periods and turn itself onto standby mode. When required you touch a button and they quickly heat up ready for service. This is simply to save electricity which has become more and more expensive as of late. Through this system and the insulating of each of the tanks is how the potential electrical cost saving of 47.6% is quoted by the manufacturer. Perhaps we should view this like the maximum range of an electric car but I think an owner should enjoy using a third less electricity. So great coffee and saves you money - its no wonder that this technology is so popular.
This quality machine is no lightweight tipping the scales at 82kg. A true centrepiece - very vibrant, shiny & simply stunning. Very, very expensive brand new, which is why you will see these machines offered at very, very high prices...but not this one!
This machine has been professionally prepared by an experienced engineer. Renewed and re-loved. A process which takes about three days to produce a machine of this standard. The machine will have been fully serviced, replacing parts as needed, so it will be ready to perform at it's best once more. Whilst it has been used, we endeavour to make the machine both perform and look as close to new as we can. The best bit is that it is at a fraction of the price of a new machine. This machine is simply a visual feast to look at!

Love Coffee Machines is a company dedicated to the supply of quality Italian Astoria refurbished coffee machines.
The word 'refurbished' is rather misused generally when a clean or a simple front end service seems to be the interpretation.
For us the word means that a machine will be poured over by an engineer for a process taking about three days. After removing all the panels, the boiler and pipes will be carefully disconnected, taking the machine to the chassis. The boiler and pipes will be descaled, an essential process for reliability, before being polished. Then the machine is carefully reassembled complimented with a new certified boiler pressure valve. The panels then are cleaned and polished so they look stunning resulting in the machine looking great, from both the inside and the outside! Then the machine is run and thoroughly tested before being photographed and made ready for a new customer. Even before supply the machine returns to the workshop for PDI inspection when we will again hook the machine up and run the machine, heat soak testing for an extended period before calibrating the preprogramed water delivery by making a few shots. By doing all this our aim is to exceed your expectation, providing you with a machine for years worth of trouble free service which is why we enjoy many clients coming back again and again.
We also stock and can advise on refurbished grinders, regenerated water filters and all the ancillaries you may need for your operation. With many years of experience if you aren't sure, please just ask.
